We’re seeking a Service Advisor, to join our fantastic aftersales team at Sonning Common Vauxhall in Reading.

The Role

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the link between our customers and the workshop and will manage their experience from beginning to end. You will schedule services and repairs, liaise with our parts team, suggest additional products and services to the customer, and make sure all invoicing is accurate and timely.

Key responsibilities:

• Interpreting customer concerns and comments and liaising with technicians
• Booking/scheduling vehicle services
• Liaising with customers about any additional work required
• Estimating time and costs associated with repairs
• Handling customer complaints and responding to customer requests
• Tracking the vehicle through the workshop
• Producing customer invoices

To be considered for the role you will need to possess the below skillset:

• 1 years Service Advisor experience
• Excellent communications, inter personal and organisational skills
• Flexibility, confidence and enthusiasm
• Computer literate
• Previous experience in automotive aftersales
• Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to handle a pressurised environment
• Basic level of mechanical awareness and a keen interest in the automotive industry
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Confidence to recommend and upsell additional products and services

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £30,000 to £32,000 per year
• Plus bonus between £100 to £250 per month
• OTE £32,000 to £35,000
• 22 Days holiday plus bank holidays
• Pension
• Training

Working hours:

• 45 hours per week
• Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm
• NO SATURDAYS
